Product Description

Linear actuators allow an arrow board to be safely raised and lowered from the comfort of the Arrow Board's controller, reducing the risk of strain or injury. As an optional extra our Arrow Board controllers can drive one of these linear actuators which are installed instead of gas struts. They can also be retrofitted to existing arrow boards with gas struts if compatible. For more information contact us.

Linear Actuator (200mm stroke)
Motor: Nominal 12V DC, up to 90W
No-load speed: 11mm/s
No-load current: 3A (required to move, the actuator should not demand any current if it has reached an end limit point)
Full-load speed: 8mm/s
Maximum load: 4000N/407kg for supported (linear) loads. The maximum load should be reduced if the load is not supported in an axial direction, parallel to the movement of the actuator. Longer-travel actuators are affected to a greater extent by off-axis loads.
Current for max. load: 12.6A (do not apply power to the actuator if the load exceeds the maximum rating above, this would void the warranty and be likely to damage the gearbox, bearings or motor)
Maximum static load: 6000N (612kg) in compression. Maximum 4000N in tension.
Noise levels: < 50dB under no-load < 55dB under full-load
Maximum duty cycle: 30% (this is the maximum proportion of time that the actuator may be in operation for, up to 2minutes during any continuous stretch. The duty cycle should be reduced below 20% for average loads >2000N)
Life expectancy: Nominal 30,000 strokes

Upon delivery of your Magnum products and before signing the “Proof of Delivery” for the delivered item/s. Please inspect the item/s for any clear and obvious transit damage. Once satisfied that they are in good order and condition, they can be signed for. If damage has occurred, we advise either noting on the “Proof of Delivery” or POD, that the item was not received in good order, or declining to accept the item due to damage. Photos of the damage are also very helpful. Accepting damaged items and signing the “Proof of Delivery” without noting any damage leaves no recourse for compensation by the carrier
